Up!
Men participating in the annual fishing competition, one of the initiatives of the Man Up! Ministry, as it strives to bring men together through discipleship and fellowship.
Man Up! is a men's ministry aimed at adult men bringing their sons, and mentors joining mentees, to create a bold new narrative in Trinidad. These men, young and old, convey and learn what it is to be a man empowered by God to reach into their families, workplace and community with leadership and the message of God’s truth.
The ministry's approach is to create events and regular meetings at which any man can find comfortable fellowship, away from the worldly culture where alcohol, substance abuse and partying is the norm. We strive to encourage men to reach men, and in so doing pour the Word of God into our community through the leaders in the home.
Monthly gatherings of men to fellowship in cooking together, playing together, while praying together and studying God's Word together are just a small portion of this ministry. The annual fishing competition is just the start of a more meaningful approach to men's ministry, as we grow in reaching the lost.
