Welcome to Network153, a vibrant and inclusive Christian Organisation located in the heart of Siparia, Trinidad and Tobago. Our organisation is driven by a unique mission to create positive change, starting from the individual level and extending all the way to the international stage. At Network153, we are dedicated to encouraging, inspiring, and serving our community through a variety of outreach events and programs. Our ultimate purpose is to spread the love of Jesus and proclaim redemption to all.

Founders

Sookram 'Vijay' and Aloma Singh

31 Years of joint ministry through leadership of a church camp and engagement in the lives of young adults and youth. Aside from raising four children, all remarkable young adults, Vijay and Aloma worked year round for decades with responsibilities ranging from speaking, worship leadership, cooking, cleaning, maintenance, construction, programming and mentorship. God has used their years of experience to impact the lives of hundreds of people. Trinidadian youth in search of acceptance and hope, church congregations in search of growth, church youth in search of purpose, foreign missionaries in search of perspective and opportunity to minister with them

Meet Our Team

Scott Wrigglesworth
Chairperson

Since his first visit to Trinidad & Tobago in high school, Scott has held a love for the nation and for Trinis that has only grown over the last 30 years and 20+ visits. Scott lives in Beavercreek, Ohio with his wife Dedra and together they have two sons and four daughters. Scott & Dera attend University Baptist Church. Scott's career has been in the US power industry where he has worked in portfolio and risk analytics for nearly 25 years as an executive with Ascend Analytics, and in various analyst and management roles with DP&L and AES. Scott is currently in leadership as Director of Risk Management and Analytics with Silicon Valley Clean Energy.  Scott earned his MBA from the University of Dayton and his bachelors in Global Economics and International Business from Cedarville University

Pastor Leon George
Vice-Chairperson

Leon is the pastor of the Arima Evangelical Church. With an M.Sc. in Industrial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management, and a B.Sc. in Agribusiness Management, Leon has the experience to lead and execute projects. Leon is also a trainer with The World Needs a Father, and as a pastor with a heart for outreach, he is a transformational leader. 

Kern Roberts
Treasurer

Kern Roberts is a dedicated healthcare professional with over 15 years of experience as a Physical Therapist specializing in manual therapy. As the Founder of The Rehab Center, he is committed to improving the health and well-being of his clients through personalized care and education. Kern applies his leadership and organizational skills to support the mission of positive social impact. His passion for wellness extends beyond his practice, with a deep commitment to helping others lead healthier lives.

 

Stephen Bedase
Secretary

Stephen is an educator by profession with a keen interest in youth development. He has served in many leadership capacities in the church, and enjoys volunteering. He is an avid musician, photographer, graphic designer and all-round creative, with a passion for seeing young people serve Christ. 

 

Theresa Hicks

In 1995 she experienced her first visit to Trinidad and Tobago, with the H.I.S. Ministry Team through Lancaster Bible College, returning numerous times to serve in many different titles, nurturing relationships that continue to be strong today. Theresa grew up in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Ocean City, New Jersey with her husband Kevin. Theresa is an active member of Redemption Community Biker Church, where she teaches Sunday School and plays the piano on the worship team. Theresa received her bachelors in Bible and Teaching Degree in Physical Education at Lancaster Bible College, going on for a Masters of Sports Science in Daphne, Alabama at The United States Sports Academy. After working in her field Theresa returned to school for a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University, passing the National Counseling Exam to receive her Licensed Professional Counselor in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Theresa is a part of the American Counselors Association and an Approved Clinical Supervisor as well as a recognized member of the National Board of Certified Counselors.

 

Amber Rohrer

Amber currently serves as the Admissions Specialist and Social Media Manager at Dayton Christian Schools. Amber and her husband have 7 children and are members at First Baptist Kettering where they serve in children’s ministry.  Their family has been to Trinidad numerous times to volunteer in service alongside Vijay and Aloma and the Singh family. 

Dan Sterkenburg

Professor Dan Sterkenburg has served as faculty at Cedarville University since 2010 following a 25-year career in business. He worked for The Reynolds and Reynolds Company as a financial analyst, Finance Director, and eventually a Senior Director. He has also been a CPA with Deloitte & Touche, a CFO, Vice President of Finance, and IT Manager in various small businesses. Dan lives in Ohio with his wife Lynn, where they are heavily involved in BEA Ministries and where Dan serves as Executive Director. Dan holds a D.B.A. from Anderson University, an M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Wright State University, an M.P.H. in Epidemiology from University of Michigan School of Public Health and a B.S. in Biology Secondary Education from Calvin College.
